This is the first approach that was taken with this
large bedroom in a western
Massachusetts
residence. The cabinets were of cherry
with a pickled finish. The antique
trunk featured a motorized television lift

When the owner of this home decided to renovate,
a different approach was taken. This
home was featured recently in LIVING spaces, a Turley Publication. |

In this renovation, figured anigree and birdseye maple
were selected. A new cabinet was fabricated
to house the lift for the LCD screen, which is operated by remote control and swivels
360 degrees. The back panel of the
TV screen cabinet features a Marquetry panel. |

master suite features a separate dressing room (shown below), this area offers
an in-room landing for items of immediate use.

Specialty hardware
allows the doors to slide together, revealing extensive book storage that is
otherwise invisible.

are fabricated in olice burl, curly English sycamore and anigre. |

used in a dramatic manner in order to add interest and drama to the cabinetry
and desk area in this guest bedroom. |

of double doors and the TV unit may be concealed behind the pocket doors, shown

This guest bath which also serves the exercise room features cabinets of rift
sawn white oak with fluted details on the sink fronts and pullout side units
creating efficient and easy access storage. |

Solid mahogany encases the lovely bubinga veneer. The supports for the glass
