Architectural - Bedrooms and Bathrooms

This is the first approach that was taken with this large bedroom in a western Massachusetts residence.  The cabinets were of cherry with a pickled finish.  The antique trunk featured a motorized television lift

When the owner of this home decided to renovate, a different approach was taken.  This home was featured recently in LIVING spaces, a Turley Publication.

In this renovation, figured anigree and birdseye maple were selected.  A new cabinet was fabricated to house the lift for the LCD screen, which is operated by remote control and swivels 360 degrees.  The back panel of the TV screen cabinet features a Marquetry panel.

Although this master suite features a separate dressing room (shown below), this area offers an in-room landing for items of immediate use.

Specialty hardware allows the doors to slide together, revealing extensive book storage that is otherwise invisible.

The master bath features a fully appointed double vanity with built in display area and (not shown) a glass enclosed double shower.
The Jacuzzi tub surround has built in storage and display areas.

This lovely bedroom features a small writing desk in the foreground, a bureau and nighstands.  The pieces are fabricated in olice burl, curly English sycamore and anigre.
This beautifully detailed bureau becomes an heirloom peice.

The Macassar ebony veneer was used in a dramatic manner in order to add interest and drama to the cabinetry and desk area in this guest bedroom.
This wall unit in the guest bedroom offers significant storage, behind two sets of double doors and the TV unit may be concealed behind the pocket doors, shown open here.

This guest bath which also serves the exercise room features cabinets of rift sawn white oak with fluted details on the sink fronts and pullout side units creating efficient and easy access storage.

Guest bedroom in a vacation condo, done in a style evocative of Art Nouveau. Solid mahogany encases the lovely bubinga veneer. The supports for the glass shelves remind one of calla lilies.

This wenge cabinet houses a Murphy bed in this exercise room which doubles as a guest bedroom.
Accent cabinet, also crafted in wenge.
